Areas of expertise
Stefan has practical experience in a wide range of family law issues, including assisting Independent Children’s Lawyers in complex parenting matters, financial matters, family violence intervention orders and elder abuse prevention.
Stefan joined Nicholes Family Lawyers in 2017 after completing a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Leo Cussen Institute. Stefan worked exclusively in family law and family violence prevention in both private practice and the community sector in legal support roles prior to his admission to legal practice in 2017.
During his undergraduate studies, Stefan completed intensive study programs at Humboldt University in Germany in the area of mediation and dispute resolution, and at Michigan State University in the United States of America in the area of international litigation and arbitration.
Stefan has a keen interest in complex parenting disputes, including international child abduction matters under the Hague Convention. He also has an interest in financial disputes for married and de facto couples involving third party creditors.
Stefan speaks Greek.
