Lunchtime Fundraising for WIRE’s AMICA Program

Nicholes Family Lawyers is proud to partner with WIRE, an information and referral service which provides Victorian women with free and confidential support, information and referrals.

In the lead up to the end of financial year, WIRE is running a grassroots fund-raising campaign for their AMICA program. AMICA is a lunch-time program run by WIRE to support people experiencing isolation and homelessness – the word means ‘friend’ in Italian.

AMICA offers an opportunity for women, nonbinary and gender-diverse people to connect with other people in a safe and friendly space and become more socially connected.

This year WIRE is inviting everyone to fundraise by hosting a picnic or run a lunch-time activity, arrange a work gathering or simply get to together with your friends for a lunchtime conversation. As a Crowdraiser, Wire will support your fundraising with a copy of ‘Home is where the Art is’ a compilation of artwork and pieces from AMICA users sharing stories of their journey.

We look forward to hosting a lunch-time activity and supporting the wonderful work of AMICA, and we invite you to support AMICA here.
