Isabel Britten-Jones

Professional experience

In 2015, Isabel graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours. She also completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English.

Immediately after finishing her studies, Isabel pursued her interest in international law and worked for the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Tribunal in the Office of the Co-Prosecutor in Cambodia.

She has also studied abroad in the Netherlands. There, she undertook courses relating to international children’s rights and juvenile justice and, as a result, has a strong interest in children’s rights and international family law matters.

Since being admitted in 2017, Isabel has worked solely in family law. She has had experience working in Nicholes’ International Family Law Specialist Group, as well as assisting the firm’s Independent Children’s Lawyers on parenting issues.
