Lauren holds a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts with a major in French from the University of Melbourne. As part of her law studies, Lauren undertook an intensive study program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where she completed units in Israeli and International Law.
While at University, Lauren worked as a barrister’s assistant, volunteered in the Equality and Social Justice team at Victoria Legal Aid, and interned at a Community Legal Centre in South Africa.
Since joining Nicholes, Lauren has worked on a range of matters, including international family law matters and complex property and financial disputes. She has a particular interest in resolving parenting matters from a child-centric perspective, and has assisted the firm’s Independent Children’s Lawyer in parenting cases. Lauren seeks to promote the recognition and protection of children’s rights through her involvement in the World Congress on Family Law and Children’s Rights.
