Professional Experience

Michael joined Nicholes Family Lawyers in February 2019 after finishing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business at the University of Tasmania, majoring in Economics.

He worked with the legal team at Aurora Energy becoming familiar with energy purchasing, supply and supporting Aurora in its industry transition to be a sustainable energy supplier while also focusing on energy equity for families. Michael also gained valuable experience when he assisted Magistrate Angela Bolger in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.

Michael joined Nicholes Family Lawyers and has worked closely with the CEO helping to support new business systems and online capabilities across the team. In this role, Michael developed significant experience with business accounting, trusts and financial management.

While at Nicholes Family Lawyers, Michael has provided significant assistance to not for profit organisations working in Children’s rights and LGBTIQ areas. Including the Equality Project and World Congress.

Michael has a keen interest in property matters, he has a unique perspective developed from hands-on experience working in business. He is also passionate about children centric solutions in parenting matters and child protection.
