Professional Experience
Morgan was appointed as an Associate at Nicholes Family Lawyers in September 2020. She started at Nicholes Family Lawyers doing work experience in 2018 and became a law clerk after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business from the University of Tasmania in December 2018.
While at Nicholes Family Lawyers, Morgan has provided significant assistance to not-for-profit organisations working in Children’s rights and LGBTIQA+ areas, including the Equality Project and World Congress. Morgan is also on the board of Switchboard Victoria.
Property
Morgan has a keen interest in property matters, developed from hands-on experience working in business. She is also passionate about children-centric solutions in parenting matters and child protection. Morgan has experience in complex financial matters, navigating family and unit trusts; and company structures.
Parenting
Morgan is also passionate about children-centric solutions in parenting matters and working with diverse LGBTQIA+ families. She also works in Hague child abduction matters and relocation cases.
Children’s Court
Morgan is experienced in Child Protection matters, appearing in the Children’s Court regularly on behalf of clients. Morgan has a wide breadth of experience with DFFH, assisting in defending Protection Applications, Permanent Care Orders, Joinder Applications and VCAT case plan appeals.
