The recent release of the ‘Equal the Contest’ documentary, which focuses on the Mount Alexander Falcons, a football club created for and led by women and gender diverse people, encouraged Bec, Eve, and Louise to discuss the barriers that women and gender diverse people face in football and the importance of initiatives that foster inclusivity. ‘Equal the Contest’ is set to be featured at the Geelong Pride Film Festival on Saturday 20 April 2024.
