Professional Experience

Lydia joined Nicholes Family Lawyers in October 2024 after practicing in family law in Queensland and the Northern Territory. After completing her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Business from Griffith University, Lydia undertook a practical traineeship before being admitted in the Supreme Court of Queensland in December 2022 and the High Court of Australia in June 2023. Lydia initially practiced as a migration lawyer before finding her passion for assisting people through the family law process. Lydia prides herself on being compassionate and approachable, while ensuring that her clients are supported and well informed at all stages of their matter. Outside of work, Lydia likes to spend time with her friends and family, going camping and reading.
