We had the privilege to attend a charity golf day in Torquay for “River’s Gift”, a charity raising funds and awareness for research into Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

River’s Gift was established by Karl Waddell and Alex Hamilton following the tragic death of their first child River, who passed away in his sleep at just 128 days of age, with no specific cause of death established after a thorough forensic investigation. River’s death was classified as a SIDS incident.

Partner Nadine Udorovic and CEO Nick Tonkin attended the Golf Day on 24 March and the firm was delighted to sponsor one of the holes on The Sands course in support of River’s Gift.
