Professional Experience
Jessica joined Nicholes Family Lawyers as an Associate in February 2026. Jess practises exclusively in family law and assists clients across a range of property, financial and parenting matters, international child relocation, divorce, and intervention order matters. Jess meets the unique challenges each family presents with compassion and pragmatism, offering sensitive and practical advice to guide families to the best possible outcome.
Jess was admitted to practice as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria in April 2025 and is named in the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia. Prior to admission, Jess completed two degrees, a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Leo Cussen Centre for Law.
Following her university studies, Jess worked for over two and a half years as a Judge’s Associate at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) for her Honour Judge Dorrat (formerly known as her Honour Judge Jenkins). This experience provided Jess with a unique lens of court processes, and insight into judicial decision making, informing her approach in private practice.
Outside of work, Jess enjoys travelling, pilates and spending time with her friends and family.
