Rebekah Bessant joined Nicholes in December 2014 having previously practised in Family Law in both the community sector and private practice. Rebekah also volunteers as a Legal Supervisor at the Animal Legal Clinic operated through the Fitzroy Community Legal Service and at the Peninsula Community Legal Centre Night Service in Bentleigh.
Rebekah is presently undertaking a Master of Laws in Human Rights at Monash University.
Kristiina Sexton joined Nicholes in January 2015 having previously worked as a Judge’s Associate in both the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia. Kristiina has worked solely in the area of family law and has invaluable knowledge of both Courts’ functions, practices and procedures. She has been exposed to various types of Family Law matters including, but not limited to, relocation cases, complex property cases and complex parenting cases.
Rachael Ellerton also joined Nicholes in January 2015. Rachael has practiced in the area of family law since 2011 and prior to joining Nicholes Family Lawyers gained experience in providing advice and representation to private clients across a range of practice areas.
Rachael practises in all areas of Family Law including property settlements, children and parenting issues, financial agreements, spousal maintenance, child support arrangements, divorce, family violence and intervention orders.
