Nicholes Family Lawyers on the Move

We are excited to announce that NFL has moved to Level 12, 460 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne from 13 April 2015.

NFL was at 224 Queen Street for over 10 years. During this time, we represented clients from all walks of life and were successful in prominent complex financial matters; highly sensitive child abduction cases; interstate and international relocations; and many other important and challenging cases. For example, NFL recently represented a non-biological parent in a same-sex relationship and succeeded in obtaining orders from the Family Court of Australia declaring her as a parent of the child, together with an order providing that her name be listed as a parent on the child’s birth certificate. This result was one of the first successful cases of its kind in Victoria.

Not only are NFL regarded as leaders in the family law profession because of our expertise and cutting-edge work, but NFL are also viewed as pioneers in the area of pro bono work and support for various not-for-profit organisations.

Our new premises will allow NFL to continue our work both professionally and in making a difference in the community. When designing our new premises, a lot of thought went into how we could best utilise our office spaces, not only for work purposes, but also how we could donate our offices to the various not-for-profit organisations we support. We are thrilled to have been able to convert our meeting rooms into a suite, which looks over the Supreme Court dome, so that various not-for-profit organisations can hold their seminars, fundraisers and other events in the space.

We look forward to welcoming you into our new office premises.
