On 13 April 2015, the Law Institute of Victoria’s annual Legal Comedy Debate was held at the Athenaeum Theatre as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

The topic of the debate was When it Comes to the Law, Winning is Everything. Teams of three lawyers battled it out with witty and hilarious arguments. LIV president Katie Miller moderated the debate.

Nicholes Family Lawyers’ Rebecca Dahl starred as part of the winning negative team, along with Rohan Phelps from DLA Piper and Philip Dunn of the Victorian Bar.
